Dentistry

Most dogs and cats have some degree of periodontal disease by the age of 3 years old, making preventative care, diagnostics and periodontal therapy more important than ever. Our CVH team has advanced skills and interest in veterinary dentistry and a state-of-the-art dental suite, including digital dental radiography, to help us provide the highest quality care. Our Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment (COHA) includes cleaning, polishing and probing of the teeth followed by dental radiographs, which are critical for the diagnosis of most periodontal diseases. Radiographs are performed following any necessary extractions, meeting the highest standards of care set forth by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
