Coats Veterinary Hospital is pleased to offer medical boarding to our special needs pets who have a condition that is currently managed by the veterinarians at CVH. This means that the pet has a current VCPR (Veterinary Client Patient Relationship) with us. Level of boarding is based on time involved in the care, monitoring, special needs and number and medical staff experience required to provide consistent and exceptional medical care while you are away. Coats Veterinary Hospital does not have veterinarians on call on weekends or holidays. Furthermore, there is no supervision overnight and several blocks of time during the day on weekends and holidays. Should our medical team become concerned about your pet after observing them and providing care, we reserve the right to set up a visit with our veterinarians the next working day or transfer to Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital for more urgent needs at your expense. Should your pet require a CVH veterinary exam, the additional cost of $75 plus any diagnostics or medications will be added to the invoice. Should our veterinarians recommend transfer to PEVSH, the cost is $125 plus any charges incurred at the emergency facility.
